I picked up this fabric somewhere.  I have so much in my stash now that I forget. I’m pretty sure that I bought it at a little boutique fabric store in Salt Lake City.  A few fat quarters and some remnants.

At first I thought I would cut up some random pieces and mix it up like I do.   However the designs were so cute I decided to leave them all in one piece.  I kept thinking it would be cute in a little cowboy’s room. And I had one in mind. He claims dual citizenship in Texas and Wyoming.
Also I wanted a quick and fun project for an afternoon’s worth of time.  Perfect.

I had exactly enough for two throw pillows and a seat cushion. Not one square inch of fabric was left behind.

My vintage button stash had enough to use matching buttons all the way around.

This is the front view.

And the back view.  Any way you like it.

The whole time I was working on them I was thinking of  this little  Wyo-Texan Buckaroo that I was going to meet for the first time.

He’s three and wasn’t much into sitting still long enough for me to get a picture. But I know he liked them.

And I loved him!

P.S. I don’t have any grandchildren in my life right now….. So I just lasso them whenever I can.
