All Cowgirl Ranch Rodeo

A while back I took Cowgirl-Red to Woodward Oklahoma to  a Women's Ranch Rodeo.  It was sponsored  by a local cowboy church and sanctioned by the WRRCA. They both put on western events throughout the year but this one is very dear to my heart.  These are my home girls.  My tribe.   These are 4-woman teams of real cowgirls. Real punchy. The punchiest I've ever seen.  Each team represents a ranch and competes in all the real life ranch events.  They dragged calves. They sorted and loaded trailers. They roped..... a lot. They headed and healed. They even mugged...

Fabrics Are My Love Language

   Fabrics have always been my love language. Ever since I was a girl in Oklahoma. I learned how to sew in Girl Scouts.  I made a hot pink paisley mini dress. I paired it with hot pink patent leather and suede shoes and hot pink fish net stockings. Very 1970's.  I was ahead of my time. I was hooked on fabric, sewing and clothes. I became a Master Tailor before graduating high school. I went to college to get an actual degree in Clothing & Textiles from Texas Tech.    If you could dream it, I could sew it. ...
